Section 37
Concessions and Concessions
: (1) Government of Nepal will make arrangements to provide grants or loans at subsidized interest rates for agriculture and self-employment business or entrepreneurship to persons with disabilities.
(2) The owner or operator of the vehicle shall provide a fifty percent discount on the passenger fare when traveling by public vehicles such as buses, trains, and airplanes. (3) The government of Nepal shall not impose customs, excise duties, local taxes or levies on aids, equipment or tools used by disabled persons, disabled-friendly vehicles and goods, devices, spare parts and raw materials used for education, training or self-employment of disabled persons. Other duties may be exempted in whole or in part.
(4) The Government of Nepal may grant tax exemptions as specified for the expenses incurred in specially modifying or installing parts to make the connected devices disabled-friendly in establishments established with the aim of providing employment to disabled persons.
(5) The Government of Nepal may give tax exemption for the amount of that amount to institutional schools that provide free education to persons with disabilities.
(6) The Government of Nepal shall provide free education to the sons and daughters of persons with disabilities as prescribed.
(7) The Government of Nepal may provide loans at subsidized interest rates from banks and financial institutions to social organizations, commercial or industrial establishments that provide training or employment to persons with disabilities or provide employment.
